The American Red Cross of San Diego and Imperial Counties is currently seeking nominations for the 18th annual Real Heroes Awards, which will take place on Friday, September 25th. These awards celebrate ordinary people with extraordinary courage throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties who have made a personal commitment to creating safer and stronger communities and providing help when it is needed most.
We are quickly approaching the nomination deadline – July 10 – and I want to encourage you to submit a nomination before it’s too late. We are accepting nominations in the following categories:
· Animal Welfare Hero
· Community Partner Hero
· Fire and Rescue Hero
· Gift of Life – Blood Donor Hero
· Good Samaritan Hero
· Law Enforcement Hero
· Military Hero
· Youth Good Samaritan Hero (age 18 or younger)
