SUMMARY:Home and Life Survivability in the WUI - Deer Springs
DESCRIPTION:The Deer Springs Fire Safe Council will present “Home and Life Survivability in the Wildland Urban Interface” Saturday May 21\, 2022 at the Hidden Meadows Pavilion\, 28208 Meadow Glen Way West from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Captain Thomas Shoots (CAL FIRE Public Information Officer) will discuss \n\nChange in Climate/Fire Conditions\nFire Behavior\nEmergency Notifications\nEvacuation\n\nas well as other topics important for your and your home’s survival in a wildfire. This program will be of interest to all area residents especially those who are new to living in “fire country.” The seminar is free but seating is limited and pre-registration is recommended. If you cannot attend this session\, additional seminars are being planned.
