DESCRIPTION:Quick Details: \nDate:                   Saturday\, October 26\, 2024 \nTime:                  8:00am to 12:00pm or until services available reach capacity. \nLocation:           American Legion Post 853 – 4515 Borrego Springs Road\, Borrego Springs\, CA 92004 \nImportant Notes: \n\nThis event is open to Unincorporated County of San Diego residents only. \nHousehold Hazardous Waste (HHW) and construction materials will NOT be accepted at the Borrego Springs Cleanup Day Event.\n\nThere is a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on November 09\, 2024 from 9:00am to 2:00pm just down the road in Warner Springs at the Community Center.\n\n\nMATERIALS ACCEPTED at the Borrego Springs Cleanup Day Event:\n\nBulky Items including broken appliances\, water heaters\, furniture\, and other miscellaneous household bulky items that are too large or too heavy to place in the trash carts.\nElectronics including TVs\, computer monitors\, printers\, and cell phones.\nRecyclable material including #1-7 plastic containers\, aluminum\, glass containers and cardboard.\nGreen waste including hedge trimmings\, tree branches and weeds.\nMattresses and box springs\nScrap metal\nTires up to 9 passenger tires per vehicle. Please call 1-877-713-2784 to request preapproval for loads of more than 9 tires.\n\nNO tires with rims will be accepted. NO tires from businesses.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOther services that are available at the Borrego Springs Cleanup Day Event:\n\nFREE Paper Shredding!\nDonate Reusable Items! Donate reusable items such as gently used clothes\, kitchenware\, small household appliances\, décor\, and furnishings.\nFREE Mulch! This is a self-serve\, self-loading service\, so please bring your own cans/bags and shovel.
