You may have heard that provisional overwintering numbers here in CA are looking really bad. This is not good news for the western monarch, whose numbers were already perilously low. More info here. Now more than ever we need to encourage people to plant native milkweed. If you have tropical milkweed, please keep it cut back over the fall and winter.
Lets all maximize our efforts with fire safety and save our environment at the same time!
