Thank you for visiting the Fire Safe Concil of San Diego County and for your interest in the Fire Safe Council of San Diego County.
The Fire Safe Council of San Diego County was formed as a regional fire safe council in 1997 and as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization in the state of California. Since that time, we have developed more community Fire Safe Councils throughout San Diego County than any other county in California.
We are proud of this accomplishment and could not have accomplished this feat without the on-going support and collaboration of all our partner agencies.
The GOALS of all Fire Safe Council members are to:
- Promote Fire Safety Education
- Encourage Pre-Fire Management
- Attend Meetings
- Participate in Fire Safe Council Programs and Activities

It's that time of year to submit your nominations for the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award and the Outstanding Fire Safe Council of the Year Award. These awards, along with the Fire Safe Council Rookie of the Year and Outstanding Project of the Year, will be presented at the FSCSDC Awards Luncheon, Thursday, June 18th at Barona Resort and Casino.
