As of August 24th 2021, Fire Danger has been elevated to Extreme in Cleveland National Forest in order to provide public safety and protect natural resources. All use of fire is prohibited in the forest due to critical fire weather, fuel moisture at or below record levels, drought conditions, and hot and dry seasonal weather. If you visit the forest, be aware of wildfire conditions and take prevention measures.
